He holds a Bachelor in Mathematics from University of Seville and a Ph.D in Economics from Pablo de Olavide University (with distinctions). He currently works as Associate professor at Complutense University of Madrid where has been appointed as Academic secretary of the Instituto Complutense de Estudios Internacionales (ICEI). He also collaborates with the research group Governance and Economics research Network as Research Affiliate. In addition he has worked as external consultant at different official bodies (AECID, European Central Bank and European Commission, among others). Previously, he has worked as (Ph. D) Assistant professor at Pablo de Olavide University (Seville, Spain) and as research assistant at Foundation centrA. His research areas are mainly public economics and computational economics.
